Bonded 14k Gold and Sterling Silver Two-Tone Hoop Earrings

Bonded 14k Gold and Sterling Silver Two-Tone Hoop Earrings
These are my favorite new earrings. It makes accessorizing so much easier. They are the right size for day and evening wear or anything in between.

What is bonded gold jewelry?
BONDED describes jewelry that is composed of a sheet of karat gold, which is mechanically affixed over a sterling silver core. The 10 or 14-karat gold layer is bonded to the sterling silver by a Proprietary Technology of mechanical bonding that uses heat and pressure to form a uniform metallurgical bond changing the two materials into one. Depending on the design, the layer of silver may or may not be visible. All bonded product will have a metal stamp disclosing the fraction of karat gold and sterling silver.

Why is bonded better? The sterling silver core is covered with a permanent layer of 14 or 10k gold that is not removable. The gold thickness in bonded product is greater than gold-plated product and the gold layer will not wear off as is possible with gold-plated product. Bonded product is very durable and long-lasting if cared for properly.
